Just wondering if one of the rb26's t28s would bolt up to the stock manifold, i already have the sr t25 and all related exhaust, but i want a bigger turbo.

Specs anyone, same as an s15 sr....close? I found a good deal on one.

If the turbo is off an R32 or R33 Rb26, I don't recommend using as it got ceramic wheel which it tends to shatter into pieces under higher boost. On the other hand, I am not sure if the turbo itself will actually bolt onto the ca manifold.

Good luck,RafiPULSAR GTR

Nada, they're pretty small actually. I think you've got to clock both housing to get it to work, and it doesn't use a 5 bolts exhaust flange, but a 4 bolt like the Z32's.

I could be full of shizit as well...

i have done this onto a ca18 and it is NOT a bolton! u need custom everything from getting a manifold and u need to drill out the holes to make way for the studs that are on the turbo, i need to make custom wastegate actuator and braket, custom elbow or u need to ge tthe one off of the car, custom down pipe and the custom piping, once it was all done though the car moved really good, i was quite impressed on how fast it spooled and the response of it once it was finished! but just to let u know it aint no bolt up!

the turbo has a tine exhaust side with a much bigger compressor side, i have no specs on this but also if u are running high boost it is not recomended! i was only able to do this cost effectivley cuz i had all the **** laying around!

.48 T25 exhaust, .60 compressor, I believe, I used to have a couple of them. the outlet is 5 bolt but it is completely different than the SR/CA T25 5 bolt, and no one sells gaskets or flanges. To add insult to injury, even if you ge the stock 02 housing, it terminates in a 2 bolt flange instead of the usual 3 bolt SR/CA one.

The compressor is slightly larger than the stock CA one but if I'm not mistaken the turbine is exactly the same. Also you'll need a bolt on compressor inlet and a bolt on compressor outlet because it doesn't use slip on ones like the CA turbo.

Its not a bolt on for sure, and for all the work its going to be nearly a stock replacement. A stock SR T25 is bigger and will yield you more power, and as noted the ceramic wheels of the GTR turbos are prone to failure above 14.7 psi. If you can get one super cheap (I sold mine for like $150 each or something) it MIGHT be worth it, but since you can get an SR T25 for about the same money, IMO totally not worth it.

Thanks but I already have what you listed. i thought it would be close to a s14 t28. It was from an R33.
