I have a couple of questions. I heared the 25 trannies were pretty strong and the stock bottom end of the 25 could handle 500 hp. are these true or just myths. Also is the extra weight of the motor worth it? Im seriously thinking about this swap as I need to do a tranny swap anyway so why not new motor too. Is the wiring that difficult? Any common problems with this swap? Place to get cheap motor mounts and the tranny yoke? Theres plenty of ds shops in nc to do a one piece al. driveshaft.

ITs definitely going to cost you loads more time and money to do an rb swap instead of swapping out for another ka tranny

Oh trust me I know that. I have added up the prices for stuff I need from Raw. Just the Ka is getting close to 200,000 miles. 2 more cylinders turbo'd stronger 5 speed tranny can handle more power on the stock bottom end. It all sounds good to me. Granted I know its going to cost more require more time. To me it sounds worth it. I have been doing a lot more research about it and found answers to my own questions. But thanks for your imput. I do have one question what is the cheapest liget rb25 swap any one has found. Raw sells them 2500 I found some other places around the same the cheapest I found was 2000.

ive seen them go for around 12-1500 for a series 1, but i wouldnt buy it.

i paid 4800 for mine. but it came with extra's and i got to inspect it and see it run before purchase, i also knew the history. worth the money if you ask me. you get what you pay for.
