It is going about as well as can be expected. My block of aluminum is in the CNC mill, and getting worked on as we speak, I am happy to say. Once, done and fitted into the mold base, I'll have to get it shipped up here (30 miles), and you don't want to use your pickup truck to carry this - it'll bend it in half. The mold will get in line (short) at the mold polisher. Once done, it will get sent to the molder where it will get in line, again, hopefully not that long. Once I have a few, I will ship them to a few guys here as freebies, as long as I get in trade some high-quality pictures of their engine bay with the clear cam gear cover on it. Those pictures will go on my site, THEN, my "door will be open" as far as doing business with everyone. That's not too bad, eh? Don't ask me to put a time on it!

Gents -

Your patience is about to win out -see attached picture below. The cavity of the mold is in the milling machine as we speak! The mold will make RB20s as well as RB25s. Those machine tool marks will get all polished out to a mirror finish.

Greg -

Nice to have you chime in!

Zcon was in August last year. This year, it's in San Diego, an easy drive for me. Do you think there will be lots of RB20/25/26s there? I would love to chat with someone that went last year to quiz him about what it's like. I'm fairly certain that I will have boxes of stock here in early June. :)

I could use a phone contact for you - would you email me that? Thanks!

Chad -

Yes, you will be one of the first, if not the first. It'll cost you, though! ;)

I need engine compartment pictures for my website that show the clear cam gear cover on each of two engines: the RB20 - no intake bulge- and the RB25 - with the bulge.

You send me one and I'll have you a pic with 12 hours of me getting it. My engine bay stays immaculate. It'll look dope.

Clear cam gear covers have been, and still are available for the 26, but not for the 25 or 20.

I talked with the machinist last week. He's putting the cooling passages in and the ejection. He's working on it, since he won't be paid until it's done!

See my message to Eclipsado of a week ago. Nothing has changed since then. I chat with the machinist weekly for progress reports. He's on it, since he isn't paid until it's done.

Chad B. -

I am shipping you your RB20 clear cam gear cover today, the 7th. All I want is some high-quality pictures of your awesome engine bay with the clear cover right out front! Heck, post a picture here!

All - the one I'm shipping Chad is the real deal, but most of my stock is still at the molder's place waiting for the Zaklee URL to get printed on them (in an inconspicuous place). When I get all those delivered, I'll be able to fix all you guys up. Chad got a deal of sorts - he started the thread!

After serious deliberations, they are $109 retail, plus shipping. Please don't paypal me until I have stock in house, thanks!

Great to hear!

Rob, we will have the zpowersteering.com Z at the huge Z Convention in San Diego in August (5-9). Hope we can demo it there, since the car gets lots of attention!
