What do you have a RB25 or RB26???

If you have a 25 call up Mike Turbo in MIA and you can get a brand new Master Power turbo for anywhere from 400-600 i think

Or hop on a Holset turbo.

RB20/25 turbo's are T3 flange, the SR is a T25 flange. Only RB26 turbo's are T25 flange, but each are smaller than one SR turbo. RB20/25 turbos wouldn't be an upgrade anyways.

I think you need to research in the SR forum about what turbo's are good for what on an SR before you go saying you want a twin ball bearing this, or a T3 flanged that.

how is a rb25 turbo not a upgrade with a t3 flang arent they the biggest turbo out of the sr and rb and i already asked on the sr forum i just thought people that actualy had the turbos would no more about them and i want fast spool with desent punch thats why i want a ball bearing t3

if you are still using the stock sr manifold, the rb turbo won't bolt on, it has a different size inlet flange. the s15 bb turbo is better than the rb25 bb turbo, because the rb25 bb turbo has ceramic wheel, it become unstable and the wheel will shatters at high boost 15psi+.

1) Please use punctuation and proper grammar

2) It is not automatically an upgrade because it has a bigger flange

3) You will spend WAY more on a T3 manifold to fit a RB turbo than you would on the turbo

4) It sounds like you really don't know much about turbo's if you think whether or not it's BB has more than a couple hundred RPM to do with how well it spools --and if you are worried a lot about stock like spool, you might want to choose a lower HP figure to shoot for

5) You will NEVER make even close to 400hp at the motor let alone the wheels with a stock RB turbo

6) RB20/25 turbos are not bigger than the S15 turbo, but they are bigger than the RB26 turbos

7) Getting a RB turbo "high flowed" is not worth it in my opinion, but if you are set on it, research on skylinesaustralia.com --and your still not going to make 400rwhp with one

8) I strongly recommend a Holset HX35 judging from you wants out of the turbo. They can be had for around $200 on ebay used

well, if you re-read his post, he says that a RB25 turbo is smaller than a S15 turbo. What makes a turbo bigger or smaller dosen't depend on the exhaust housing. lol. Seems to me like you need to research alot on turbos before you go picking out one to bolt on. a Ball Bearing turbo will only improve your spool time by 500rpm MAX...most only see 2-300rpm quicker. your spool time depends on the turbos wheel sizes, and the exhaust housing. the bigger the exhaust housing, the later it will spool, but it will make more power. the HX35 is a turbo I know not alot about, but to be honest w/ you...I think i'd trust him when he says it would work for you. Or go buy a 60-1 turbo and use it. I'll sell you mine for 300 + shipping...its jdm ball bearing and spools uber fast
