I've been trouble shooting my rb20det install for months now with no luck. I'm getting the correct spark and fuel. I've trouble shot this a million times and i'm pissitive both systems are operating as advertised. That being said, with correct timing and air the motor should start. It defenetly does not though. What i'm thinking I did, but can't comfirm is that i installed the exhaust cam and intake cam in oppisite positions. I understand the reprocutions of doing this, most if not all of my valves will be bent. But i don't want to just switch the cams if they are installed correctly. So does anyone know if (A) This is possible to do? and (B) if it is, how can i tell by looking at them while installed?

Any information/expertise regarding this subject would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!

Your exhaust cam should have key to drive the CAS. Pull off the cas and look to verify that the key is there/intact.

Pictures of cams at TDC will tell the story... if its timedcorrect and installed the cam lobes on #1 cylinder shoud be pointing outwards at TDC and 90degrees to the bore...
