I can take a hint. I'll get back on this :bowrofl:
Nah dude, its no big deal at all honestly. I just thought I may have had what you needed. OTOH I could just find a zenki condensor as we had discussed. OTOOH (on the other other hand) I am lazy and may never get around to finishing my A/C installation :rotfl

Guys, I'm picking up my first s13 RB25 swapped car and it doesn't have A/C. I just need some clarifications parts I need for easiest installation:

1. RB25 Compressor (can I get away with an RB26 or RB20?)
2. KA condenser (can I get away with any other one?)
3. Custom lines

The car I'm getting still has all of the A/C wiring installed and running an RB25 ecu and harness. Would I need to pin the harness for the A/C input into the ecu, or is A/C completely separate system? I don't have the car yet, so I'm just looking for some clarifications.

Thanks,

Jeremy

I figured out what the squeaking was. I accidentally installed the washer on the AC idler pulley outside of the idler cover piece instead of between the bearing and cover piece. So the cover piece was serving as the bearing surface and it was not happy in doing so. I took it apart and put the thick washer where it belonged and the problem was solved.

I'm going to buy a vacuum pump and AC manifold kit so I can charge up my own system this summer. It gets expensive and annoying to pay someone to do something so simple.

Daryl,

So you just want the zenki low-pressure hose end that is at the firewall?

Got my a/c working!!! Thanks for all the help.

It seems like Im dealing with some heat soaking issues. Ill know for sure once i move one of my fans to a puller position, but as expected my water temp runs alot hotter with the ac on. ~100*c so I really need to take care of it

Ill send back the kouki line as soon as I get some spare money to mail it back.

Awesome! Mine never got that hot. I have SPAL pushers on the front of the condenser too. Good pullers and good duct work should do the trick for you. :woot:

eek. I dunno. I currently don't have fittings for either of those to go off of. Do you have S13 lines you can send me so I can compare them to what I already have made up? That would at least get me started on it.

X1000 (for RB25)! I would want to buy the parts, but I want to make sure it can be done.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Does anyone have hose ends from their RB20 A/C compressor that I can use to design adapter fittings?

Same goes for the S13. I would need some high pressure and low-pressure lines to compare with what I have now to see if any of it will fit. Since it probably won't, I would have to design and have new adapter blocks fabbed up.
