Cut the 350z brackets off and welded 240sx ones in it's place.
That keeps the rail at stock height so the hump doesn't give you any fitment issues.

Haven't used it much recently.
I want to rewire it to the toggle button (the bottom one) so I don't have to hold it down to keep spraying.

i wonder if you could somehow set it up with a timer. like press the button and it sprays for x amount of seconds. that would be pretty cool!

Okay, I got everything in and mounted it's just weird how it fits. I kept the rear driver's side bracket closest to the door. That made the seat sit evenly from side to side... If I cut that off though and just mounted the s13 brackets on, it would sit way crooked, weird..
but thanks and sorry for randomly mentioning the seats again

No problemo!
Yes, you keep the 350z bracket that mounts to the floor, I think I mentioned that before.
Enjoy the seats!
Mine sits pretty comfortably, and it holds me nicely.

I did a 200 mile round trip with my car yesterday and I was nice and comfy.

one more thing.. you think flux core welding is strong enough to hold these brackets on?
I welded around every piece of the bracket.. just getting a little concerned now.. wondering if I should add a bolt to it

Razi-whats that "switching valve" between your intake and V.C. in front of upper timing cover. Never seen that before, is that replacing PCV valve? Just curious, didnt have time to read 22 pages.

If the penetration is good, it should be fine.
If you're lucky you might be able to find a local exhaust shop to go over your welds just incase.

It's a oil/something separator filter for air compressors from Home Depot haha.
I've kept my stock PCV valve setup, this is just acting as my miniature catch can.
The little valve looking thing is there so you can open it to drain any oil it catches. I don't have any blow-by so I've never had to empty it out.

You know even though you give me a bunch of crap elsewhere for whatever reason, I must say this is a very awesome build thread and a very awesome product that came out of it. I want everything you have except in an S14. Props to you.

Bought a 15mm Works Bell spacer a while back.

Having the steering wheel closer is pretty nice. I love it!

New project....

LEDs in the 3rd brake light.
If all goes well, I'll do LEDs in my taillights.
Fingers crossed!

Mini update!

I bought a 25mm wheel spacer to put my Nardi a bit closer to me, feels great!
Image

Image
I liked that it came with different bolts for different wheel styles.

Image
Ta da!
It's not as easy to hit the signal stalk now, but it's not that annoying once you get used to it, and I'm willing to make that small sacrifice for the better steering feel.

I also bought a ton of LEDs and messed around with them to go in my 3rd brake light.
I played around with a few configurations to see how I wanted them spaced.
Image
Ended up using a 3x17 config.

Image
Almost done, I just need to wire in the resistors in the back and get this thing in!

I used reflective tape to make the board look nicer.
It's Chromebrite, found at Pepboys, it doesn't conduct electricity so it's okay to use on the board.

I might do a small write-up on this if you guys want, it took me a while to understand how electricity worked and stuff. :P

If Razi hasn't done his with LEDs, I did my S14 with LEDs. My blog has the stuff for an S14. I don't know if an S13 is different.

Yeah, I've thought about going back to stock taillights for a bit.

I bought a Nismo FPR but the problem was, the FPR is pointed towards the head on the KA24DE fuel rail.
A member on here shaved some metal off the head to make room, but I didn't like this solution.
Image

Spooled240 had a nicer solution though, he cut the fuel rail flange and made a new one to sandwich it on there:
Image

What I ended up with:
Image
I didn't feel like cutting metal so I cut the end off a flange from another fuel rail from the junkyard and used a dremel to make it work.

So here's what I did:

The flange looks like this from the back of the motor:
Image

Then I cut the top of it off so the FPR doesn't hit it.
Image

Then I ground the hell out of the flange I snagged from the junkyard so it looks like this:
Image

I also had to notch one side like this.
Image
That way, it doesn't hit that square bit on the on the fuel rail.
Image

Ta da!
Image
Image
Of course, since I modified an FPR flange, it's already threaded and everything.
I also bought longer bolts. I used allen head bolts because it's a pain to get a screwdriver back there, no idea why Nissan thought it'd be fine to use cruddy phillips head bolts back there.
Then I painted it all and slapped it on.

Stuff for the future:
740cc Nismo Injectors
Z32 MAF
Retune from EFISpecialist (Only $50 :D)
Z32 brakes all around.

Image
Yaaaay!

Now, I just need to decide what color to paint my Z32 brakes.
Either gold:
Image

Or silver with black letters, like AMG or Infiniti brakes:
Image
I'm leaning towards silver though, I think gold might be too bright for my car.

I'm no good with photoshop, but you can imagine it:
Image

So what do you guys think?
Gold or silver?

I would go with gold, kind of like the g35 brembos.

If I get to keep my car, I'm going to paint the z32 brakes that I have the "Le Mans Sunset" orange from the 350z. Feel free to use the idea if you like it lol.

Gold would look dope since your car is green. Silver would get lost behind the z wheels, but if you're going for the understated look it could work.

Jealous of the injectors haha.
