nice radiator. i have the same one in my car. thought my stocker was bad but it was leakin from somewhere else, lol. oh well. it was a good upgrade. although i think my thermostat is stuck open or missing and this cold weather+big radiator+missing or faulty thermostat=no friggen heat.

Don't worry, KA-T guys have ran FMU setups for T25/T28s for a while with no problems, it's a well known reliable setup.

Bigger injectors and a tune is somewhere in the future though.
Oh.. i didn't know FMU can adjust timing maps.

my bad.

With my fat Hayden e-fan, if I don't drive around to warm up the car the temp stays at around 140. I might adjust it to kick in a little bit later to let the car warm up. I get around 180 degrees when I'm driving around, I kinda like that but I may need it to be a little warmer.

It reads cold.I gotta drive to school in a few minutes and once I get back home I'll see if I should have the e-fan kick in a bit later. It's staying at around 180 degrees right now from like 10 minutes of driving, I heard 190 is a good temp.

We will see how the temps are after 20-30 minutes of driving and from there I'll decide if I need to adjust the temps the fan kicks on at.

are you being sarcastic? aka a d!ck head?

Do some research and then come back. First thing to look up is retarding the base timing.

Some people don't even research the stuff about KA-T setups and they go around saying random things.

Anyways, I think the Koyo is all good, no more overheating.180 degrees or below no matter what. And I get 25 psi for oil pressure at warmed up idle.

I think this setup is going great!

I might even go to spooled240's meet one time.

Nah I don't get hassled by cops.I look stock, except I'm about 2 inches lower. And my exhaust hasn't bothered any cops yet.But yeah in some areas of SoCal the popo likes to bother people that seem to be illegally modified.

Inland Empire. Corona. My IC is black so it still looks exactly the same as that pic I took a long time ago.

There is a guy my dad knows that owns a BMW 3 series, dunno the exact year.He has a CF vented hood and wheels and etc... at Irvine, CA and he gets bothered by the cops often.

Somehow they don't notice his supercharger.

Haha, just pop it into neutral and drop the revs.It should keep some of the attention away when the cops are near.

I'm driving out to socal so I can come. And by driving I mean pushing my car so I can attend a meet where there are 3 ka-t's. And by 3 I mean 2...mine not included.

I wish there was more of a 240 scene around here, there are a few kids I know with them but nothing like california.

Razi you say you stay around 180 degrees? That's about where I stay too. My fans come on at 180 and I'll hear them turn on after driving for about 10 minutes, but a few times I've been sitting in a driveway say waiting for a friend to come out and I hear the fans turn off, so even after just sitting still if I'm idling it drops below 180 degrees. Holy long sentence.

Yeah you should join with your push cart. LOL jk.It's held every wednesday, come stare at my KA-T.Don't stare at spooled's ka-t though, it'll make mine look puny.

Good to hear you are also at 180 degrees, now I know I'm not running weird temps.

On a serious note, I hope your KA-T goes good.IIRC, your rebuilt engine had something go wrong right?Must feel cruddy .

I hate the feeling when something doesn't go right with the car.Worst feeling ever!
