I was reading yesterday in my bio textbook that the ovaries of the female plant carry seeds. Seeds are deposited in fruits. So the next time you eat a watermelon, you are really eating a giant ovary and all that juice is ovary juice.

Subject matter for the next to last week of school: Reproductive.
You wouldn't believe how many people can not say the words "pen15" or "vagina" without blushing or giggling. C'mon people. Seriously? This is college, not 8th grade Health class.

FYI: The average healthy male produces 300,000 sperm per minute.
That's over 400 million per day.
Also, sperm production never ceases. That's why 80 year old men can be daddies.
Men who are paralyzed can still have an erectlon and make babies. They just don't feel the pleasure. <--- would suck

Did they discuss what would decrease your sperm production? Or... increase it?

Idk I think its a man kind of thing. When we talked about it in class I took it as just subject matter. But soon all the jokes came out and they were easily funny. Thats like saying someone is immature when they laugh at a fart. "Its natural" they say. Yes but its hilarious. I recall a thread a thread called Farts Farts and more Farts by a certain someone :)

To go along with that fact, something like 15% are retarded, having 2 heads/tails, have the tail perpendicular to the head, or just dead. Only about 50 sperm actually make it to the egg.

lets see heat is a good way to lessen the amount. Thats why your balls are dropped, to be away from the heat of your body. The cooler they are the more you produce to answer your second question. Take an icepack and you sit on it wearing thick boxers (not direct contact so that its numb), while letting the cold contact your gemstones for like 2 hours atleast, its like a handful and a half. Not that I have tried that or anything.... but just sayin...

True. However, when you are on Day 3, it's just stupid.

Just go get snipped man. There have always been theories surrounding male fertility. People have said that the additive used to color Mountain Dew, nicotine, pot, and cocaine are all sperm killers. However, I don't think they have ever proven it though. There are studies being conducted now that are exploring the idea that pollutants in the air, water, plastics, and many everyday items affect fertility.

Yellow 5 in Mtn Dew is a lie, pot... maybe, maybe not. I would highly agree with all others killing sperm.

On the radio this week, a group at some college did a study on sperm count and I guess wifi signals. Men held an ipad or phone in there lap for 4 hours and found that the sperm count decreased by like 15% or something likr that. Thats pretty noticable.

^ King of the Hill!?! I get more entertainment from picking out socks! Totally NOT FUNNY! :poke:

Anyways, another way to increase sperm count is time. Wait like 4 days and dayum.

Im jelous! My bio teacher asked me to submit an electrical copy of my term paper because I assume he wants to check the works cited page for plagiarism. I dont know whether to take that as a compliment or not. Meanwhile, many people said they copied and pasted that and the 2 previous papers and that pisses me off.

Meanwhile, I still thinks amazing that smashing 2 of the most elementary particles together produces the largest amount of energy.

I think it would be easier to answer that in terms of flow. Not that I know the answer, but with so many different sized pathways and arrangements of pathways, I'd imagine there are different fluid velocities. You might be able to figure an average, but what that number wouldn't show is how big the range of velocities actually are.

Fact #2, I would like to see the equipment used to verify how flies dream.

Fact #5 and Fact #6, I think these are conditioned to a region or small area where it applies. In several zones of Africa people don't celebrate Valentine's day as an example., and dudes living in the mountain as hermits are mostly breathing the farts of deers rather than of other humans. If these "facts" have been taken based in statistics means, then we know that it can't be called facts but simply statistics.

Fact #15

This doctor with his laser toy has proved wrong years and years of genetic studies.

He can "mutate" brown eyes into blue eyes by removing the melamine that covers the existing blue color layer in the eyes of the WHOLE people. :chuckle:

This is to say, Adam had blue eyes.

Your blood makes a complete circulation throughout your body in +/- 5 minutes depending on the person's height and weight.

Found this little list, hope they're not reposts:

The time difference between when Tyrannosaurus and Stegosaurus lived is greater than the time difference between Tyrannosaurus and now.

If you properly shuffle a deck of cards, in all likelihood, the resulting deck has never been seen before in the history of the world.

There is a blind guy who can ride his bike in traffic using echolocation.

There is a species of jellyfish that is immortal (turritopsis nutricula).

A small enough animal can fall at terminal velocity without suffering any injury upon impact. An ant (or even a smallish spider) dropped from a tall building will be just fine.

If you could fold a piece of paper in half 50 times, its thickness will be 3/4 the distance from the Earth to the Sun (71 million miles).

Over 3 billion people live on less than $2.50 a day (in USD using purchasing parity power), roughly half of the world's population.

There are more cells of bacteria in your body than there are human cells. (Indeed, there are more cells of E. coli alone than of human cells.)

Computer hardware has fulfilled Moore's Law for 40 years and may continue to do so.

The guidance computer from the Apollo 11 mission ran at 1.024 MHz, about 1/6th of the processing power of a TI-83 calculator, and it took human beings to the moon.

Humans landed on the moon, and it happened over 40 years ago.

When you see most stars, you're essentially looking hundreds or thousands of years into the past.

It takes a photon, on average, 200,000 years to travel from the core of the Sun to the surface, then just a little over 8 minutes from the Sun's surface to your eyeball, sliding in at 700,000,000 MPH.

If you cut up a hologram, the entire image is retained in each piece.

If Earth weren't tilted on its axis, we wouldn't have woodgrain, just "tree brown".

Boston Red Sox slugger Ted Williams missed almost five full baseball seasons (1943, 1944, 1945, 1952 and 1953) fighting as a fighter pilot in World War II and the Korean War and still managed to hit 521 home runs.

During metamorphosis, what happens in a cocoon is that most of the caterpillar gets dissolved by enzymes into a soup of undifferentiated cells and then the butterfly grows out of the same DNA. :wtf2:
