Have you ever pulled up to a light and the guy that pulls up next to you gives you that look, or the person who pulls up behind you gives you the look... What do you do? For me, its usually some guy in a car he just bought, and most of the time its with out a doubt slower than mine, but sometimes it will be a pretty nice car, they just can't drive it yet... the end result is usually "no cops, nope... green light, and here we go"!!!! I shouldn't, its illegal, but thats why i ask, what would / do you do? (any stories?)... i always let off once the speed limit is reached, or i pull far enough to quit trying.

a mod asking a question about street racing? i really don't know how to reply to this. i always believe in a swift acceleration to the posted speed limit. unless they're still pulling, and then you just gotta see what happens. and i don't wanna be discriminatory. but we mostly just get civics and mustangs around here like that. all of them are slow too.

Although I hate sounding like a douche total bag, 9 out of the 10 times whenever I'm at a red light on my way to school I usually end up being the fastest car at every red light.

And then the occasional Cobra, Vette, GTO, and Corolla S would eventually start creeping on the come up.

And I usually avoid looking left and right at a light, I just look down or straight ahead..until I hear some sort of rev or call to attention. Then I'll show what is up.

i do pretty much the same thing as rmezz. looks cops and go, and run to the speed limit or a bit over. i just hate when your far enough ahead and let off you hear through the grape vine later that they smoked you.

Yeah I used to like when people would pull up and give that look because you are right half of these plugs cant drive and they are in automatics. I would race these lil kids all the time until 2 dumb asses caused an accident and killed 2 innocent people racing down a major road here in Lafayette and the police are all over everyone about street racing. Now you can go to jail if they "think" you are racing each other so now I have to bite the bullet when it come to getting the look at the light..

When someone gives me that look from behind I'm a big fan of backing my speed to 5 mph or so below the psl and frustrating the hell out of them.

Its like the kareha on my car really belongs there.

but to answer the question ill give him the look back and when the light turns green ill take off like i usually do and he noticed i do that so he will to also, than ill slowly get into the gas than ill punch it and so will he!
