Any of you guys autocross or do any track racing with your ca's. My ca is going in right after my next autocross so i can get one more in before its off the road. Just wondering how the ca is on the track compared to the ka.

if my car is every mechanically sound, I'll autoX a few times.. but not alot, mainly because its a PITA to get to the autoX's around here from where I live, long drives both ways. and I can't afford to kill tires TOO fast..

same for drag, I'll drag some because its fun even if you aren't fast just to work on timing and everything and just to get to go WOT with no worries, but noplace nearby, long drives and money again

same again for track.. there's places, but again not a short trip.

I like AutoCrossing the CA --you just have to balance how you drive with the Turbo boost ( if you are coming from another car without one as I was) --It could use more Torque--but that is the trade off.

I do not know of a race class where the CA would be legal --but on the track the car is fantastic. When it is boosting--Wow.

What are you running for suspension on your car?I passed on the Coil overs, running Koni Yellows, Whiteline Springs, Sway bars, bushings. R compound tires.

Try your car out--I am sure you will like it.

I go back to Watkins Glen in a few weeks ( National Z Car Convention needs help running the event)--So I will let you know more then--assuming everything works OK.

an engine swap puts you in one of the top classes i forget which.

basically you have no chance of winning anyways so drive for fun, unless nobody in your area is in that class, or the only other people are people who swapped motors too as opposed to people with uber cars lol

Swap puts you in SM ( Street Mod)

--I think the car can be competitive Regionally and is competitive locally. Nationals --I am not sure if it can beat the supercharged BMW's --They have way too much money in their cars--But you are right --HAVE FUN!

i autox'd, gymkhana, drift, and drive on track with my ca autox is easy with ca because the boost curve isnt as critical for torque and hp as in drift or on a track, becuase autox is all tires and suspension

Lew--you bought a CA?--Outstanding!Another one brought back from the darkside.

Hey do you still want those American racing rims? If so, I will bring the wheels/tires to work and get the tires taken off.
