Just like the title says. Just wanted to let y'all know.

My brain hurts from searching for Mahle pistons for this engine, but I frickin' know they exist. Will accept Arias too, as I am told they also exist. Might have to break down and have them make them custom. I WILL NOT CONFORM!

Yeah probably, but on that same note I am considering spending my money on a mountain bike, so I'm not all that concerned at the moment. Also, the only time I am going to be able to work on the car next is Christmas, and I'll probably be in the Florida keys then, so when my car will run again is anyone's guess.

Good f***ing choice Tim, good f***ing choice. Im telling you man you're following my foot steps.

Sell that f***ing Nissan, get yourself a sweet Scoobaru like me and take that s*** to the bike trails like me.

I recently finished building up one of my bikes.

Hydraulic Brakes son, more stopping power than a Aircraft Carrier plane capture belt.

^ Had any issues with the carbon bars yet? I've snapped two now and I'm done with carbon bars.

Back to bending aluminum.

Damn Julian thats a nice bike you have there!

I am no noob when it comes to mountain biking. I have been doing it for years and years. My friend's dad (friend owns a WRX just like you!) has been biking all his life, and they have a whole arsenal of bikes, so I never needed to own one. Now I am older and am getting tired of asking permission and just need my own.

I don't know if your brakes are as much of a pain in the a** to bleed as the Magura SL's on the bike I usually ride, but if so, enjoy.

I usually rock a Titus MotoLite with the whole XTR setup, Push re-valved Fox suspension, Corssmax tubeless wheels, hydraulic disc brakes, etc. etc.

Once you have ridden on a Titanium frame its hard to go back. My friends don't really think so, but I know they are doing more work than me out there. Haha.

One thing about mountain biking, it makes you waay more awesome at road biking. I do that a lot too.

Road bike is a Quattro Assi. It is teh bomb.

I used to ride XC and road but when I got a taste of downhill stuff I'll never go back.

I have a new Norco A-Line Park Edition and I love it.

Yeah I wear tight-a** spandex and s***. Let me tell you, the pads in those bike shorts sure feel fantastic on the taint. Make those three and four hour intensive rides a lot more forgiving on the 'ol gooch.

Downhill is something my a** is too chicken to get into at this venture. Ive been hurt enough partaking in extreme sports to want to get into anything like that just yet.

Tim, that's not a mental image I want of you... or anyone here for that matter. Well, it might get TMS all hot and bothered, but that's it!

Haha jail was not as bad as breaking the bottom of my foot through a carbon fiber-soled shoe while doing some technical downhill mountain biking. I couldn't walk for two months. With jail it was more like three days. Like I said, Molly was gentle.

BTW, when I broke my foot, I finished the ride. Two and a half freaking hours.

That really does sound painful... has anyone else noticed that this thread only has like 3 posts that're really about pistons or even cars in general?

Gotta say though, those WRX's are damn nice cars. Then again, my buddy's WRX doesn't have a single stock suspension piece on it anywhere. Its also stupid fast. Greg you should see it now in all of its external waste gate 22psi glory. Its ridiculous. Way different than when you drove it on 15psi.

Yeah Maz, my threads in general seem to take wild turns shortly after conception. It no longer bothers me.
