I'm pretty sure it's going to be well worth the wait

Yep for sure! hoping this intake will help out with the low end that I feel i lost after I had a custom exhaust installed on my car.

Someone else had a similar issue on this forum and they had mentioned that they got the car tuned and it drives much better. I'll consider that option after I get the intake installed.

By any chance have you removed that huge plastic piece that sits on top of the car's radiator? My car seems to run a lot better with it off.

We all owe your buddy a huge thanks for taking time out of his busy day and making multiple trips to R2C allowing them to design and fit an intake for the VK56VD. Hopefully they'll contact him soon to get the intakes installed and also take photographs for the installation instructions.

I'm tempted to drive the 6 hours to R2C's headquarters once these are available for sale because I don't want to wait for shipping. :yesnod

Nope, just some left over M35 stuff (one of which also fits the Y51).

I emailed R2C earlier this week, never heard back from them. Maybe they are tired of me bugging them all the time. Does someone want to call them and see where they are at with the intakes?

Yeah I posted that awhile ago. Like I mentioned I tried to follow up with them earlier this week and normally I get a prompt a response, but in this instance I have not heard back.

If someone has some free time just call R2C and inquire about the availbility on the intake for the 2011+ M56/Q70 V8. Obviously we want to let R2C know there is interest for this product to be released. Their phone number is: 708.488.8211

I received an email yesterday from R2C. I asked about how soon they would available. They said by end of the month. Fingers crossed.

Depending on price, I'm in. If these are like some stupid $600 price like those dumb strut bars...I'm out. If it's like $350, I'm interested.

Think it will be between $350-400 based off the price of their single intake prices.

Right...hoping they stick to that area and don't escalate it on us with reasons such as "small demand, etc'"...we're still waiting on a concrete price from them...but hoping it's in the neighborhood.

It's like $475 for the G37 ones with the black hex filters. So $400 with a Group buy seems possible. If they will do it for around $400 I would be down.

I'll get one when I can. Finish building our new house this month and moving expenses may eat up too much money (still need OEM Sport Exhaust too).
