Actually the Eventuri intake shown is not a CAI. Go to the Eventuri website and read up on how this system works. It is more of a RAI utilizing a venturi effect. Note the series of holes across the top of the scoops. I looked at this and decided to go with the HPS hoses, and utilize the existing intake duct and drill similar holes in the filter boxes. A lot of folks knock this design but it actually does a good job of channeling the cold air to the engine, which to me is integral to keeping the intake air temps as low as possible, a key variable in maximizing performance. I'm just not sold on the R2C, just my $.02, give or take a penny. I would buy the Eventuri intake in a heartbeat, if they made one for the M. Just looking at the Audi profile, it almost looks like it would fit the M, with some minor modification.

Airaid MXP for a Titan/Armada/QX56 is a 4" intake that uses a venturi cone and a 6 or 7" filter opening. The venturi slims down to the maf to run on stock tuning. The result is a claimed 18 hp and 24 tq at the wheels. I dropped 2 tenths in the 1/8 and gained nearly 2 mph trap speed. My 2014 Pro4x Titan ran a 9.50 @ 74 mph with nothing more than an Airaid intake, Nismo catback exhaust, Nismo thermostat and a 2° timing advance.

Do we have anymore people who want to join?
Don't hold your breath, my buddy who used his car as a test/fittment car for them did not have a good experience. They no longer return his calls about the free intake he was supposed to receive as payment for his time. I feel bad for telling him about it.

That's terrible and a joke of a company. Sounds like they bailed mid-R&D. Screw em.

Also, welcome back lol. You still a tech in AZ? Or did you leave that job/industry behind with the move?

I saw where a guy on the Titan forum modified that intake on his truck by adding a 4" PVC RAI to it. He claims to reduce his IAT's 10 degrees and overall better performance over just the stock Airaid. Not sure what other mods he did. Only issue is the wiper fluid reservoir being in the way of the piping. There seems to be a bunch of guys on that forum running RAI mods on their trucks. That way you have the benefits of both a CAI and a RAI.

Just contacted R2C, and the product is scheduled to go into production soon. I'm going to follow up with R2C in 3-4 weeks to see where its at.

More. First post of this thread is 10/30/15. However, CRV_33 has a new contact at R2C, so maybe this new person can finally make it happen.
