R12 Freon worth recovering and reusing?

In the next few months I'll be tearing a part three 90-93 Q45s. All have working AC.

At the current price of R12, wondering is this stuff work recovering and reusing?

Actually, it is a federal offense not to do so, and not to be licensed to do so.

As a testament to it's value, most shops will evacuate your system for free so they can get the R12. Consider switching to R134 which is less costly and less of a headache. I did this in early spring and have been cooling nicely ever since.
