1990 Maxima GXE, mechanical odo. The trip odo intermittently jumps a few tens of miles so I don't rely on it, because that has had no effect on the odo. But lately the trip odo also occasionally gets stuck, and when that happens, the odo itself stops turning. Apparently, the two meters are connected somehow. Searching the forum for answers didn't help. Anyone care to share what they know if it's possible to r&r the trip odo so the real odo will not get stuck if the trip odo does? Or is it time to replace the whole integrated speedo/odo/trip thing? TIA
Oh, and is there a good available write-up on removing the instrument cluster to get at those gauges? Thanks.
