Qx4 now or later?!?!

okay im 17 and i am very close to buying a 07-09 qx4 but then i thought about the idea of buying a 01 in a few years and my parents said its all good if i make 5 or so grand to pay for it.

Will the kelly blue book go down considerably in 2 years?? What will be the average price for a 01??

You night consider a Pathfinder. I would do whatever it takes to get the 3.5L engine. The 3.3 is way underpowered.Can't predict KBB value, but they seem to hold their value moderately. However with a new Pathfinder (don't know about new QX4, maybe someone else could chime in) model coming out, the older ones may get more affordable.
