Just bought my first QX4-2000 from CarMax. The Q is solid black and immaculate. It only had 15k miles and loaded. What a sweet ride! This one's a keeper! It's great to have a forum devoted to the QX4, thanks.

Yes. Dirt color is usually lighter than black and darker than white. I used to have Beige Maxima that hides dirt well.

Ahhhhhh, but sit back after cleaning it and let it shine, oh lord let it shine... Does infiniti take the painting process a couple steps farther than nissan?

Yes after a week of pollen, the QX4 looks yellow. I understand from my friends with black vehicles, a particular method of proper maintenance with Zymol products keeps the luster and mirror finish. Guess I'm back to washing by hand, but I think I'll enjoy this one.

The QX4's finish is in great shape with hardly any swirl marks. The previous owner took great care in waxing.

Pollen blends in beautifully with the millenium jade on my Qx4, but sticks out on the windows and black parts.

I let the rain take care of the pollen.
