I pur a component set in the doors. i didnt replace the wiring. i used a wiring harness nd connected to the stock wiring.the wires go from the headunit to the amp thru rcas them from the amp back near the headunit and from there to my passive crossover to the speakers.now besides the stock tweeters that i disconnected is there a stock passive crossover somewhere in between that i would of had to jump over.i have the base model altima coupe without the boss package.

you should rewire your system... NEVER use the factory wiring when hooking up an aftermarket system.... wire from the amp directly to the speakers themselves... the stock wiring is too thin

as far as a the stock system having a passive crossover, the answer is no, it doesn't

the reason i say is because i had a shop do my install and they didnt run new wiring like they should have. i want to redo it but it seems like it might be a pain in the a**.
