Do the trucks all have the plugs for options like power mirrors, even if they didnt come with power mirrors? I'm looking at getting a set but I would like to know if they are plug and play.

What year did they change to the new facelift? Like the 89 style as to the 93 style.

Also, which trucks came with VLSD? I read that only the SE's did, but I could have sworn I lit up both tires when I did a burnout once. could there be something with the canadian ones that some lower models might have a VLSD? Kind of like the 240SX's here do, I had a 92 SE, 93 LE, and a 95 Base all with VLSD.

I dont know much about these trucks yet, so excuse my noobiness hah.

On the mirrors, my '98 Frontier had the wiring there. Can't confirm on an older truck, but pull the panel and have a looksee.

I know my 91 does not have the wiring . I also was looking at adding intermittent wipers and looking at junk yard truck with it the switch stalk is different and the wiring for the relay by the wiper motor does not have the extra plug needed to do a swap over. Apparently on older hardbodies the wiring harness is not the same on all models. i know some cars and trucks use standard harness that has a lot of extra plugs and makes upgrading easy, my 91 hardbody does not have any extra plugs for mirrors wipers or any of the option switches on the dash like fog lights etc.

also curious, is the more modern dash interchangeable with the old style dash? I found one in fair shape but missing a few pieces and I like the way it looks a lot more. I havent been able to find a writreup or any answered threads.

I have no idea, I also wanted to know if the 95-96 more round dash and gauges would plug in to my 91 as i like the newer style also. Someone out there must have done a dash swap maybe they will pipe in.
