I have been around for several new model rollouts and model line updates in my time working for Infiniti. As the technology specialist at the dealer level I enjoy all these bells and whistles more than the average tech, and look forward to learning more about this new model. I foresee the first few months of the Q50 roll out coming with some interesting questions, and concerns. Most of the car operates like a normal vehicle but the a few parts of the safety technology, optional Direct Adaptive Steering, and InTouch system are new to all of us right now.
We have had quite a bit of new model training on the car but much of this is very new to us too. As with any new model from any brand there has to be a little extra patience. We have had some degree of success doing this with new model issues and common concerns in a few now older models.
This appears to be a great car and I think the increased ability to customize the characteristics of this car will take some getting used to, but should be able to be dialed in for almost everyone.
