I own a 2009 Nissan Sentra its a 2.0 I was wondering if there is a laptop hook up thing for the port under the steering wheel close to pedals. And what i really want to no is if there is or a way i can remove the top speed limiter. Or a cutter to increase top speed. Thanks

Yes, there are cables and software that can hook up to the DATA port from a laptop but I don't know if it can do what you are asking. Not very helpful am I?

I haven't actually used any but if you google "OBDII software" you should find lots of stuff. Some are free, some you buy but I couldn't tell you which is better.

Your other option is try to find an SE-R ECU, and see if that works for you. Wrong engine and transmission though. The SE-R CVT is different from the 2.0's. There is no speed governer on the SE-R's or Spec V's.

Nissan locks ECUs to prevent tampering. You might be able to find a cable that will connect your laptop to the OBDII port, but all you'll get is a laptop-based code reader and some data logging ability.
