I'm new to the nissan family. I bought a 97 240sx because of the potenital of the car. I have some question that i'm sure have been answered before. My first question is how simple is the motor swap to the sr20? Also what headlight bulb fits the high and the low? Thanks.

Umm. first off welcome to NICO. As for the SR20 Swap i think its done pretty simple but not for sure. Ask daunt he can tell you. as for the high and low beams are you thinking about replaceing them cause if you do you dont replace just the bulb you replace the whole light. if you want to get Xeons or something like that you can get a kit off ebay for like 40 bucks that will switch your light assembly so that you can just replace the bulbs

Dont mean to be rude but why was it done up like that? Is it just me (might be...) or is it kinda frustrating sorting through those links with only 5 or so shown at a time...... Wouldnt it be better with a scroll bar in that center section to quickly see all the topics in that section....? Especially in the FAQ's section (taken from the old 240sxcca site no?) section its a little difficult...

Hey, welcome to Nico. Well, I'm a nice guy so I'll answer your questions, hehehe. As for the swap, mechanically, it's a straight forward swap. Pull the old one out and drop the new one in, it's literally like that. Wiring you should professionally done as it is a pain in the arse. $200-300 would get it done. As for your headlight bulbs, 240SXRUNNER was incorrect. He was referring to the Pop-Up headlight style. Your car would take H4 for the low beam and high beam. Fog lights are H3.
