i have a 09 coupe 2.5S BUT... i have the 3.5 wheels on it. (it was part of the deal i made with the dealership when i bought the car. nice little upgrade if you ask me...)

i was wanting to get new rims but keep the same tires on them... the tires are in great condition and i really don't want to go and drop $200 each on new tires. i'd rather spend that money on a nicer set of rims.

so my question is... what are the specs of the rims if i wanted to do this? any info would be greatly appreciated.

also... thanks to everyone who helped me out in another thread about reliable HID kits.

so you negotiated to get 3.5 tires and rims on your car, and now you're going to change them? why did you bother negotiating for the wheels? should have tried to bargain down the price and just replace the stock 2.5 wheels instead, but it's already do so whatever.

if you want new rims to fit the old tires, then you'll need 17"x7.5 rims. you can probably get away with 17"x7 or 17"x8 as wel as tires don't have to be a perfect match on the rims, but if you want the ideal fit then stick with 7.5.

Hey mjmg24, were the 3.5 wheels you got add the 09s?

If so the wheels are 18"x8 with a 45 offset and the tires are 235/45/18. Just stick with wheels that are the same size and you should be good.

well... at first i was really excited to have wheels. not just some bs hubcaps. but now, im starting to look at upgrades and mods for the car and a set of black n chrome rims are looking mighty fine. they are the '09 3.5 wheels and tires, btw.

but anyway. thanks for the info.
