Lol terry is my friend and he does not own a Q50 red sport btw. He's shop works on my car. The Q50 is not a 3.0t. He's Q60 is a red sport. We were tuned by the same guy, and basically the same boost levels and I have lower down pipes and he don't . We tryed figuring out why the tuner told him that. I think that was uncorrected numbers. I made 396rwhpPostalsQ wrote:Nismoknights, check out Terry Morris' Q50 red sport on YouTube. Reading the comments he's claiming 468whp with Fast Intentions catback & 3 inch down pipes. Can I confirm HP numbers. Obviously not without a Dyno graph. But tuning is pushing more psi out of these turbos and making some impressive number at the rear. These cars are so underrated it's disgusting.
No biggie, like I said we don't know. I'm thinking uncorrected numbers is my best opinion. I did hope those numbers were accurate lol.. But no way. Sooner or later we will be up in that range or past it.PostalsQ wrote:My mistake on the identity of the car. So it sounds like his numbers are a false claim? Bad read on the Dyno for Terry? And I read some more info about his car and others on I believe a Q50 or 60 forum.
How do you figure its a "very very safe" tune? Do you have a dyno sheet that also shows your A/F ratio?Nismoknights_Q60 wrote:PostalsQ wrote:Fast intentions. Guys are netting in the neighborhood of 470 whp with tuning, catback and 3 inch down pipes. The Optimus lists there's as a 2.5 inch dp.
Any dyno sheets?
I dyno ed 396 wheel, spiking to 15 to 16 psi holding 14 with just lower down pipes and cutouts with a very very safe tune.
Full bolt on I'm thinking 500 wheel or close is doable
