Spent most of the morning working on the Q. Fitted a new fuel pump and O ring, fuel filter and antenna mast. Fuel pump was a bit of a pain as I had to take the rear parcel shelf out as the storage compartment was in the way of removing the fuel pump from the tank. Couldn't easily remove the fuel hoses attached to the filter so I decided to cut them and fit new ones. Tomorrow I am going to try to carry out a diagnoses on the traction control system that is not working.

Following the Factory Service Manual I have checked the Traction Control Module LED and it is flashing 19 times. This according to the manual is either a problem with the TCS oil circuit or the traction control actuator relay. I hope it is the later. I have looked under the hood for this relay but can find it. It is supposed to be adjacent to the right front of the battery according to the manual diagram but I can't find it. Could someone check on theirs to see if you can locate it for me

Thank you

DAVID

Went and looked and the only thing I see in front of the battery is a piece of the AC charging system.

Thanks for looking, at least I know I am not going crazy. In the Factory Service Manual in section BR 73 page 785 it shows the location of the relay but unless I am reading it wrong there is no relay in this position.

I also think that is where it is.

Made a stupid error with the fuel pump as the fuel gauge is now not working. It is reading well past the the empty level. I have either screwed up something electrical or I have got the float stuck on something. Any thoughts before I pull it out again?

ok I fixed the fuel gauge problem. The float arm was stuck and unable to move. The fuel gauge shows the level of fuel even when the ignition is off. Is this normal, I don't remember how it behaved before I messed up
