I prefer the pie plate wheels. The BBS wheels look great, but are kind of a pain to clean when they get dirty. I've only seen them on the Active and Touring models, though. Speaking of the Q45a and Q45t, I haven't seen a either model in the last 3 years, only the base models.

There wasn’t many options on these cars, BBS was an upgrade, I found a wrench to remove the center cap, but that’s all I got.

Yes. I have the same wrench somewhere. One of my Q45s had fittipaldi rims which are similar to the BBS but the wrench didnt work. It was like a small key and locking screw to get those off

Do you recall when the Q45s had the tire recall? I'm thinking it was the 97 model year but I'm not sure.

I am not sure, I tried to consult Google and a lot of recall issues have shown up on the result.

I’ll look in the tech bulletins, I found one on EBay. It may talk about the recall.

I see 1 bulletin on Dunlop tires, 1992-95 Q45’s. I wonder if other brands were used other than Dunlop.
I gotta read through the binde, I saw a bulletin on programming remotes

The tire recall was on the 2nd Gen Q45, so sometime after 96.

I think only the 89-93 Q45a, and possibly the Q45t models had the BBS wheels. The Q45t in the Infiniti Heritage Collection has them, which I believe is somewhere in Los Angles

I did notice that the q45t has T rated tires

I've seen base for sale with them. But that's beyond new. I had fittipaldi on my 92 base Unsure how that works

It seemed like most show cars came in with them, maybe the dealers put them on. I’m not sure. My fave factory wheel.

IMHO the BBS is the best looking wheel that came on these cars.
My 91 had the BBS wheels when I had it about 20 years ago. To me,that style suits the car.

My new (to me) 95 has the turbines. They're period, but man, with modern sizes on every other car on the road, it's an adjustment.

I like the 17's on the black car above!

Gold fitipaldi trimmed wheels. Best I seen on this car. I think it was lino or ownercs that had them. My favorite
