Whats going on guys. To give you a little advice on things ive done some playing around myself.
I have a 90 that I put Z32 coilovers on. To get them to work on the front, the upper holes had to be slightly opened up on the shock towers and thats it. As for the rear i had to make upper plates to adapt the small z32 coilover top to the large mounts on the body. Supposedly you can disassemble the stock upper mount and make it work on a coilover if you want to even mess with that.
Ive also put Z32 TT brakes on my car which didnt require much.
As for FRONT upper control arms, take a look at what z32/r32 ect people have done to cheap aftermarket upper control arms. If your car is at all low then the fronts will be hitting the inner fender and more than likely you will snap them in half. Im gonna save you the time and $$$ and say DO NOT DO IT. There are a couple people that have done S13/s14 front suspension setups on theirs. But the cheapest and easiest way to adjust camber out front is with spacers behind the upper control arm mount.
On to REAR upper control arms. S13/z32 are TOO SHORT. I have tried 2 different brands and unless you want -5 degrees of camber dont wast your time. As for S14 ones I am not sure how the single beam would hold up to a heavy q45 and I also dont know if they are long enough anyway.
Rear toe arms are next, which i need to pull my Powered By Max ones off my S13 and see if they are going to do the trick. they are angled to clear the subframe which is an issue on any RWD nissan that is low. From the looks of it though they will be the correct length needed.
All in all you shouldn't spend too much time trying to get S13/s14/z32/r32 parts to work if you are looking for a direct bolt on. Everything will require a little work but most of the arms are worthless to MY application. There are a couple companies that makes specific Q45 RUCAs I believe battler version or something does. Also, I don't trust cheap arms on my S13 which is over a thousand lbs lighter than the Q so maybe avoid those as well since snapping a cheap control arm on the highway would not be fun.
This is all coming from someone with a typical I dont give a fug attitude, so I had a lot of trial and error and wasted at least $600 in experimenting since no one had real answers on what DOES and DOESN't fit. A lot of post are "______________ SHOULD fit"
Hit me up with other questions if needed.
