Check ebay [nothing today] for a JDM engine or junkyard web network for a 94 or 95 engine nothing else will work easily.
$750-$1000 plus freight, installation should include a valve cover reseal and new under plenum hoses and o-rings etc. [A fully day of expert labor and $500-$1200 in parts]
The swap after rehab can be done in 12 hours
The work to rehabilitate an old removed engine can easily cost twice what the engine costs..............or some people just swap in the newish and see what happens.
If you go to the expense $4,000 of doing the job right you can expect another 7-10 years depending on condition of swap engine.......JDM tend to have under 60k because they don't drive much in Japan whereas US junk yards may have a lot of abusive owner miles.
Have an expert look before you buy the engine.
Hole in block means bad oil change habits or an overheat or combination thereof.
You might just be better off parting the old car out and buying another 94 depending on condition of the rest of your 94.
