need your help.My 1991 q45 210,145 miles, my power antenna stopped going up and down. Its stuck in the up position. I can hear the motor whenkey is on,as if its going up and down. motor is working. Why could the antenna be stuck? I think you guys are great. thanks, keith

Try a new tail first. If that doesn't work, you will have to get a moeotr assembly.

I think Brian was attempting to say try getting a new mast first and install into present motor assembly after cleaning out the old one,if that doesnt do it,order whole new assembly.

Exactly. The teeth in the tail of the antenna usually wear out first. If the drive gears are worn, then one needs another motor.

Whenever I see a G50 with a stuck antenna or a cheapo fixed replacement, I know that owner doesn't care about his car. There are a couple of posts on replacement.
