Q45 1990 - Engine Quits Randomly

I have a Infiniti Q45 1990 and it has problems starting and running. When i start the car i must pump the gas to get it to start. While i'm driving, the car will randomly die. Another thing that happends is that my RPM's jump at random times and if my RPM's go exactly at 3,000 RPMs the RPMs start jumping and the car stalls. Please give me any information possible to fix this problem(s).

My guess is fuel pump.....
