Hey everyone, I don't know if anybody cares but I think this is pretty cool. In the movie gone in 60 seconds (the newer one with nic cage) there is a 1999 q45 on the list to steal. In one part of the movie you see it on the board. Here is a link of all of the cars, she is number 26.

copy and paste to see list, its about half way down

I saw an average movie several years back called City of Industry with Harvey Keitel. The car they used in the movie was a 95 or 96 G50 with the turbine wheels. I think it was the same color as mine. You see it a lot in the movie and I think they use it as a getaway car. Check it out. The movie wasn't that bad. I remember when I first got to NICO, there was a thread about Qs in the movies. Do a search.

There's a pretty good movie called Brother, a Yakuza flick, starts in Japan, ends in Los Angeles, pretty good movie. In the begining, Yakuza bosses show up at a restaraunt in a georgous white Y33 CIMA, or course, VIP Styled. Best scene evar!!!!

I was the Director of Photography and Steadicam Operator for a feature a few months ago, we got down to the wire and still didn't have a vehicle for two undercover cop characters - so they got to drive a '93 Q45. :-)

Yep. Basically, they pull up to the curb, jump out, then run and rather forcefully subdue a rather large-ish sub-character. Kind of a fun scene. :-)

What's also kind of fun is the car I had previous to the Q (1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham 260) was also the car for the main character - it quite fortuitously avoided dying until the last week of shooting, when we had all of our vehicle exterior shots done.

There's a Nissan President in the HK movie "Infernal Affairs" -- and it gets crashed into a wall in a parking garage.

They gave it a good name too. All the Rachels I've ever known were hotties.

(I was as the hospital watching the food network tonight.)

Unfortunately, I can't. :-\ We're still cutting, hopefully will have picture locked by December, than scored and color corrected by June of next year. I'll post after it's released, though. :-)

Kevin,I just watched the movie "Brother". All I saw was a white President that the "Big Boss" arrived in when he said he wanted to go out (around 9th minute), and a stock blue Cima leaving in the street under the bridge (when one of Yamamoto's brothers came to tell him he should leave, around 20th minute of the movie). Where was that white VIP Cima in the movie?

I thought it was a CIMA? I distinctly remember thinking "it's like my car", hmmm, well, it's been a while. Like the movie though?

I don't know if anybody noticed but there's a gray early 90's q45 in the movie Traffic (2000) that the undercover police drove for a scene in the movie if I remember correctly.
