It's at national speed right now... Trying to diagnose a sputtering issue.. Think they may have figured it out though

meh.

Its in a kouki?! And its the S14 one! lol

But seriously, looks to be quite the clean build - I am pretty excited about the Wiring Specialties pre-made harnesses for the S14 to S14.

Can't wait to see how she runs and the numbers she puts down. What poundage on the boost are you running?

Right now, she's on wastegate. (10-12lb spring) The boost controller isn't getting installed until the current sputtering issue is dealt with. I'll be running boost as high as the injectors can keep up with. It's most likely getting changed to a 1000cc top-feed setup as well as an inline fuel pump this winter when AEM EMS is added.'

P.S. S14s are fat...

It bolted right up. The 3 holes at the bottom are for meth injection. The 2 on the back are for your brake booster and the pcv. The only thing was I had to make one of the holes on my iacv a little bigger because they didn't line up perfectly.

TurboSauce, I meant fat as in overweight. More weight means the car is going to start sliding off of its line at a slower speed. This is why cars like miatas dominate a lot of autocross tracks..

Mine's a piece of sheet metal that my grandpa cut when we first did the swap. If you look at my intake mani, you can see it. I've shaved it down since then, though, because of hood clearance.

yeah, i even used plumbers tape. although now that i think about it maybe the way i have the bracket bolted up. it has some slack causing the throttle body not to open up. i do need to make one then

Is this build history? I live in Havelock and own an S13, and AE86, and a Datsun 510. Don't think I have seen this creeping around this little town yet.

I'm sure you've seen the new chassis. ;) That rusted red one that this thread was for is now at Foss U-Pull-It, and the motor is now in my grey one. It's a grey S13 Hatch on black steelies. Straight exhaust so it's loud as hell... I hang out with C4 if you know of them. I know of one AE86 in our group, but I don't think you're him. Give me a minute and I'll upload some recent pics and specs for how it sits now.

Took the car to the drag strip for the first time Saturday. (It's my first time on a legit drag strip as well... not just the car.)

I went with my stock steelies and 195/65/15 street tires. With terrible launches, spinning the majority of the track, and missing 4th gear, I managed to get a 12.6 on 21 psi. Wider wheels and tires are definitely needed along with some suspension work. Either way, it was a good opportunity to really see what the car had.

Finally got a small video up. 2nd gear pull from 2700rpms to 6800rpms (Shift point is typically 7500)

Ignore the rattling/squeak noises. It's a 20 year old car with solid motor mounts. Haven't taken the time to quiet the case on the ac/heat blower yet.

Here's a video from the drag strip...

Went to 14+ AFRs for a split second last night under boost. Apparently, the hole in my fuel tank isn't just causing me to lose fuel when I fill up past half anymore. I now believe it's letting moisture in as well. Going to drop the tank tomorrow and see if it's repairable. If not, I'm going to have to find a replacement before I can really drive the car anymore. :(

E85, a nistune board, my tune, and some 235/60/15 MT ET radials and I could get your car to go 10's in the 1/4.....

You have some really nice parts in the turbo, tomie mani, and JWT S4 cams. Don't handicap it with street tires and a rom tune at the track. E85, nistune, and some drag radials will make it FAST!!!

Trying to find a used standalone at the moment. E85 isn't really an option considering it's 45 minutes to an hour from pump to pump here, and pretty much nowhere back home. (I'm out of the Marine Corps in less than 2 months.) Also last I heard, nistune couldn't control anything over 740cc injectors.

Since you're in KY, how far are you from Portsmouth, Ohio. (It's right across the river from KY, but I'm not sure what part of KY you're from.)

My tuner has nistune and a lightning MAF and he is running a holset HX40 on 30psi with 165lb injectors and making over 600whp in a B13 sentra. The only limit of nistune is the lightning MAF so about 700whp. outside of that it is fully tunable.

Isn't the Lightning MAF pretty much the same as a Z32 MAF?
(you never said what part of KY you're from... )

You're in the rear-drive forum. The SRs and the transmissions are completely different for S-Chassis and Sentras.

The lightening maf has the capability of about 750 hp the z32 about 530hp. And I'm very aware of what forum this is. I have an built s13 and a mildly built b14 sentra. Thanks.
