I just wish my parts would get here...

Valve Cover was sent out to Zach (speedeast) for powder coating today. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Another NICO member is selling me a Tomei Expreme exhaust manifold. We're just waiting on the ceramic coaters to get done with it. Everything is coming along nicely. Needless to say, I'm freaking excited.

Nice build, let me know how you like the isis parts. All the comments I hear about them is from people who never used their parts.

The 3" straight pipe exhaust LOOKS nice... I have no idea how it sounds and I won't for a few weeks. I'm sure it'll sound just like any other 3" exhaust. ISIS seems to have fixed their fitment issues with the intake manifolds. I test fitted it to my head and it fit perfectly. No drilling needed. I read a thread by omega about his isis intake pipe not fitting. If I understood it correctly, it interfered with his power steering lines. I don't currently have my power steering hooked up, so I won't be able to say my side on this. The only other ISIS part I can think of that I have at the moment is the ISIS BCU+ (EBC + TURBO TIMER). It controls boost, has a turbo timer function, and can control 2 optional things as well such as nitrous and a intercooler sprayer. As I said, I won't be able to R&D these things for a few weeks. I'm finally taking my post-deployment leave for a couple weeks. I'm hoping to start bolting everything together when I finish up with that.

Me too. I just wish my springs and retainers would show up, so I could take the head to the machine shop and really get started.

Yeah, I know what ya mean. According to UPS, there were adverse weather conditions in Raleigh that pushed the shipment off by 5 hours, so they changed the delivery date to 2/16. Just a heads up.

No pics this time. Phone's almost dead and don't feel like taking it off charge. Either way, my valve stem seals, my cosworth headgasket and my arp headstuds have finally arrived.

Thanks guys. The exhaust is an ISIS 3" Straight Exhaust. I purchased it from enjukuracing.com They're one of NICO's sponsors and Ken is ALWAYS helpful. The Clutch is UNFORTUNATELY an XTD Stage 3 purchased from ebay. I bought it when I had intentions of leaving the motor stock for a while. I'm pretty sure it's not going to hold up very long, but I'm going to put it to the test anyway.

Well, the head went to the machine shop yesterday. It's expected to be ready next Thursday. The ECU was shipped to Jim Wolf Tech on Thursday. They informed me it's a 2 week turn-around once they receive it, so I'm expecting to hopefully get it back by the end of the month. My downpipe and wheels are both on back-order until the middle of the month, so I should be getting them by the end of the month as well. On a good note, I did receive my Tomei Expreme Exhaust Mani, ceramic coated black.

I also got an e-mailed pic of my Valve Cover that Zach (speedeast) powder coated for me. It's in the mail now, but here's the preview pic he sent me.

Also, can anyone tell me where they got their oil return lines for their T2 flanged GT turbos?

Pricey, but here's some:http://www.240sxmotoring.com/tamos13topmo.html

I think those work... it claims they fit GT turbos.

MORE PICS!!!

I have the bottom mount version of those, but they don't come with an oil drain line... I got a drain kit from CIP (240sxmotoring.com) though. It's suppose to ship today... All I've done is put my interior back together. I'm hard wiring my fuel pump today and finish up my putting my headliner back in. The head is suppose to be finished tomorrow, so hopefully there'll be pics this weekend of the motor sitting in the car with all the pretty extras.

Thanks guys. It sucks waiting for the machine shop to get done. I really want to get everything bolted together. As far as the valve cover, speedeast did it.

Well, the AEM Wideband showed up today. I ordered it from Enjuku on Sunday night, so it was shipped yesterday! +1 for Enjuku's shipping... Definitely a step ahead of most aftermarket dealers!

Well, I called the machine shop yesterday morning to find out an official time for my head being done. (When I first dropped it off, they told me a week.) It's suppose to be done tomorrow afternoon. (This makes it exactly a month that they've had it. Well, I decided it's about time I started scraping the block, so I could bolt stuff together. I was kind of dragging a** because JWT still has my ECU. Then, all of a sudden, JWT calls me to inform me that my ECU is done and should ship tomorrow!!

If anyone has any tips to make this job any less tedious and less likely to damage the block, PLEASE let me know...

I just used a gasket scraper I bought at Auto Zone... and an SOS pad soaked in Eagle 1 Aluminum Rims Cleaner.
