The NISMO i'm looking at has a minor scrape on the drivers door which will have to be sanded and misted over with paint. It has minor scuffs on the bottom front spoiler side skirts. It has a small ding pertruding outward on the top roof near the back glass. It has 100 miles on it. The sticker including tax, etc is 41k. I offered 37k out the door. Is that a fair price? They said they don't generally discount or lower the prices on cars like the NISMO because it's a NISMO pkg. Is that a bunch of BS or is it legit?

What is the reason NISMO does not come with a navigation system or a BOSE sound system? No dealership can seem to give me an answer because they all say, Uhhh, I'm not sure..

Can someone get back to me ASAP? I need to make a decision ASAP!

This is my friend's Nismo Z from which he got at the dealer with less than 100 miles on the odo for around 33k in perfect condition. I'm sure you can do better than 37.

Holly Shi@! Foe-real?? That's crazy! Sounds like the dealer is trying to rape me...just think, that punk tried his hardiest to get me bonded to an agreement today. He talked like 37 was stretching it with his "BOSS-MAN"..I located another silver one on line about 60 miles from me/here. I'll give them a call and see what they're talking about.

Invoice on the Nismo is 36K, gotta keep in mind that this vehicle is collector's so dealers will be a bit tight on giving them away. These beauties are not and will not come with navigation and bose sound system because they are truly a sports car. It's based on the lowest 350Z trim although you get the Nismo tuned sport suspension, body weld reinforcements, rays forged alloy wheels, aerodynamic kit, coilovers, dampers, and the list goes on. having navigation and bose sound system will give the car a bit of weight. The whole idea to the Nismo is keep it as light as possible and tune it up for the track. It's an amazing piece of work. I love mine.

$37K is very fair. I shopped around for a Nismo Z, the best I got was $35K out the door. It was an old stock 2007 model, I didn't get it because it was red and would be paying too much just to upgrade my 07 to a Nismo.

The best fair price I got on an 08 was $38K out the door.

Set your price and be firm. Auto dealers are hurting right now...in other words it's a buyers market.

Good luck!

dealers are now sellignthese things for 30k!seriously, look around, they can't unload them, they don't have the other options because the nismo is a performance edition, not a touring edition, you want leather and nav, get the GT trim, you want performance, get the nismo, they weight a couple hundred pounds less than other models

Thats still to high for that car in this market.

Are you set on getting a 08 or could you deal with an 07? You could probably find a better deal looking for an 07. You should be able to get a nismo for around 30-33 like evildky was saying. I wouldn't pay more then that for one

the 07 nismo's are just sitting at teh dealer wasting away, as no one will pay sticker for them, they lowered the sticker to 34k at most dealers a few months backa nd some are now advertising 30K! the longer they have them the cheaer they'll get, the 350z has been upstaged by the g37 and the GTR now ewveryone wants to wait for the 370Z, making the 350Z's just sit at the lot and waste space, the dealers are willing to work to get rid of them at this point, and the economy as a whole just keeps getting worse meaning fewer buyers

The only thing I don't like about it is the rear.

No you would have to work and save for 5 more years. Because when you drove it off the lot it decreased in value by $4k. so to get back to $36k you would need about $7k. Sorry Richie you have started working when you were 6 instead of 11.

nope, you can buy a new 08 base model for 28k, as soon as you drive it off the lot is it a used car with a trade in value of about 23k, cars are a depreciatign asset, get used to it

You can buy it Richie I talked to your mom and she said it would be ok for you to buy the wing because it poses no extra danger for you.

Before you pull the trigger however, unless you are going to track you Nismo, the ride is really harsh for a daily driver. That's why I bought a Touring

$37k is pretty fair. They are definitely hard to come by and will be collectible at some point.

No navi or bose as this is supposed to be a "track" or "performance" edition of the car - you would never race with a nav system on, and these components just add weight to the car.
