Purchasing 2002 Spec-V

I am looking at purchasinga a 2002 Spec-V, I nearly bought one a couple years ago but ended up getting a 1999 Prelude then a 2006 Cobalt SS Supercharged. But I am looking for a cheaper car I can purchase in cash and the one I found I negotiated down to $5,000 out the door from a dealer. It has 130,000 miles, car fax certified, sun roof, fosgate sound system etc...It has only had 1 owner...I wanted to see what some people thought on the miles. If the car only last me 2 years that is fine with me. Want to see if anyone has one with some higher miles and what I should look for on the car. Thanks!

i had a spec v 2002 with 101,323 before getting rid of it. the only thing i can recomend is looking at the clutch, and making sure all of the 6 or 8 recalls have been properly done on that car

Yah, check if the recalls have been done, and check if it's losing oil...

not just recalls. check to see if the butterfly screws have been locktited and if it hasnt been done already, lose the stock header and replace with an after market one. these are the only sure fire ways to make the car reliable.
