One of my friends has prologue and loves it. He has the racing chair, logitech wheel with shift paddles, 7.1 surround, all running on a 92 inch projector, it's insane, like you're actually driving the cars minus getting thrown around. He loves the game. I haven't played it yet though.

Lol, actually only a 360 elite and a ps3 (with a 160 gig HD that i installed myself). Oh and a 27" HDTV in my room (not huge but 720p is good enough for me) and a psp. Which i barely touch. I only bought it for god of war and metal gear solid. Beyond that, it was a waste of money. I realized....i really do have very nice possessions.

Lol you bastard! I will honestly admit myself that the 360 elite is NOT worth the extra money. The big reason i wanted it was the HDMI port and the black color but after a few months i realized it wasn't really worth the price tag.

thats it. funny, ive had my PS3 and 40' 1080 sony HDTV combo for roughly a year now, rarely watch the TV and played the PS3 maybe 15 times total. add in the price of the 3 year accidental insurance and all on both and HDMI cables, special surge strip and that was one big waste of $2700!

eh, unbelievable... They need to get some more games out NOW!

It does offer a lot of additional functionality, but it needs to have SOME games! With Metal gear, Grand theft, and Grand turismo coming out this year, hopefully that will add to the number of people actually using the PS3 as a game console.

Also, never buy monster cables or their surge protectors, they are WAY overpriced you can pick up generic HDMI cables online for 6$ or so and they perform EXACTLY the same as monster.

yea i got my HDMI cable for like $4 something online. spent $70 or so on a special surge protector that you run your cable threw.

Metal Gear Solid 4 anybody? That was the friggin REASON i bought a ps3 before 360. Anybody got the online beta? it was pushed back but it should be available tomorrow for play!!

Yes, I will get MGS4. Not a part of the beta though. I'll be too busy with GTA and the new map pack for COD which I won't get to download and play with until tuesday.... Which means I will not be getting it anytime soon. GTA is going to be insane.

Bought a PS3 last night due to my want to play GTA4...

Only bought GTA4 as of last night. What do ya'll recommend? I played COD4 on pc already.

What accessories do you guys recommend? Is that PS Eye worth the 30 bux? How about a keyboard and mouse?

GTA is AWESOME!!!!! Haven't had a lot of time to play, but I'm about 14% progress, and just barely scratched the surface, I didn't even make it to the other islands yet... crazy.

You really don't need much in the way of accessories for the PS3. You might want to pick up the Blu ray remote and a headset. Although if you already have a bluetooth headset you can pair it with the PS3, I use my Jawbone, works great.

As far as games, Assasins Creed is decent, not much in the way of replay value...

I was not impressed with Warhawk, especially because it was pretty hyped, I don't think it's worth buying. It's like flying a brick through mud, not fun.

COD is one of the BEST first person shooters ever. Solid single player campaign and excellent multiplayer, they just released 4 new maps too.
