Project S14 2JZ

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

Updates

The Newest update is i have now gotten my turbo manifold finished! YA! I also picked up the 90mm TB from a Q45 this thing is huge! I got a nice set of Brembo RSX brakes which im gonna custom make a bracket to use these as my rears! WOW! lol gotta get them painted black as the red isnt gonna match the fronts The head gasket and Studs i should have them tmr in hand can't wait.

Also getting the 90mm TB custom fitted to my intake manifold and got my runners and upper intake gasket matched so should put out some nice flow numbers later with the built head

I have pics for some stuff besides the 90mm TB + head gasket & studs should have some more as the week develops.

To Show these are real!

I got my intake manifold modified to support the 90mm TB i got & also got the intake gasket matched to flow better. Just gotta get that part repolished Picked up a 10 gallon fuel cell, along with my driver side kick panel with JDM flare which im going to remove and mod to fit on my passenger side

Nice!

I didn't know the stock mani needed to be modded to support a 90mm TB.Also I have seen 100mm TB for the 2JZ FYI.Not sure if your interested but I thought it would something you would care about.

How much does a intake mani setup like your run?

I like using the stock unit so you don't need to relocate TPS sensor etc...

Also can you post before after dyno #s?

*I am assuming the mani was polished.

Nice

So you are going to have the abillity to go from 94 octane gas tank to race gas fuel cell by useing a quick connect adapter?

Same fuel pump just disconnect tanks?

Or am I confused.Looking good bro!

Also that CF hood isn't a cowl hood is it?

I am happy you chose to stay away from the cowl hood

I am also assumeing you will keep your S14 a Zenki? If so people will at the fact that you are one of the few who own a clean Zenki.

Good job so far!

build your cage around the interior.

the backseat doesn't weigh much, keep it. Also, your girlfriend and all her friends may want to pack in for a ride, and shower you with compliments while you whip them around.

So....Good news and bad news

The car came home today, but on the way home it fell off the tow truck which resulted in this....

My buddy is taking care of the costs to fix the fender and during all that I think the oil pan also is screwed so that also...On a lighter note can't wait to get started on it...LOL

IT was up on a normal tow truck not a flat bed if everyone is wondering and well the steering column wasn’t locked in place and when he took a turn it fell off and thing that holds the wheel swung around and hit the fender and because it fell it landed on the tow trucks center part between both wheels it hit the pan so...lucky me I took off the front bumper before he came and get the car..
