Project S14 2JZ

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

Truly a work of art.

No doubt there.

Anyone who can not respect the time, money and work put into this thing. Weather they be an import or domestic fan, is not a car guy at all.

I like the hydraulic ebrake. I have been working on one myself. Did you use a clutch master cylinder? If so wich one. I am using one off a stock 240. Seems to line up very well. What is that valve off the back there, some sort of pressure regulator?

Well boys, the 240 hit the road this weekend for the first time & at 13psi its one hell of a ride! I'm so pumped to hit the road again, but haven't had the chance due to rain and also moving my Q45 TB angle a bit as we were having problems with it hitting the hood....Scary s***...LOL

anyways everything has been delt with and i hope to be back to tuning it tonight or tmr.

just have a quick pic of the hood pins installed....that is all

Ill try and have some videos soon.

So...Back again boys!!!!

Was out last Thursday and started to smell fuel inside the cabin area! It wasn’t a fun drive home at all from all the fuel just dumping into the cabin, but made it home and parked it for the night. Friday morning I decided to remove the rear delete and get under the carpet and find fuel everywhere!!! I was being lazy about building my cage as I didn’t wanna take everything apart again, but looks like the best time to do so now. [lol]

Anyway we got started on the car Saturday & had everything out and sound deadening all removed using dry ice. Once Sunday came around got outside for a bit and bent up the main hoop & stop there until Friday, Saturday and Sunday which I have off so I hope to have the cage done by this weekend

So after fixing the ujoint in the shaft we still had a bit of a shake in the rear end. As you can see from the pics below we pulled the diff out and checked it all out, it came to our attention that the input shaft on one of the sides was slipping in and out and that the clip that goes in the gear was missing. Now we decided to check out the diff, the ring and case around that gear was beat up do to wear. Also it came to our attention that an s13 diff could be used just by changing the rear cover and so we went to check it out and it doesn't seem like it’s possible due to the ears on the s13 diff being smaller.

Anyways we are now trying to find an s14 diff or a j30 diff to put in the rear end

hey, can i start off by saying how awesome this build is. I just bought a 1jz with a 5spd and a 2jz auto to do the swap on my s14. I am having some problems with my wring though. My factory ecu is part number 89661-30870. I was wondering if you could tell me which wires are used from the e10 plug on the ecu harness, the 2nd plug that connects to a stock ecu that does not require the bolt to keep the plug in place. i was wondering if you could give me some wiring help. thanks -rob ([email protected])

Got a new project Rene?
I remember seeing this car at Bing's a few years back. It was a solid build.
