Ya they liked my car, They only took pictures with cars they liked. I thought it was kinda rude but i did not complain seeing as how they were willing to take pictures with mine and not the mustang across from me (no hate to the stangs).

Turn down the volume when you listen to them.

1. I am a very loud person.2. The viper is very loud (it was before we got the timing and tune)

You can see a little shot of the wheels on the Mercedes in the background of the idle video, And the GSX-R 1000 under the cover is something i am still trying to build up enough courage to go for a ride on.... (weather it is "gay" to ride on back or not haha)

WARNING TURN VOLUME DOWN, IT OVER TOOK MY MICROPHONE

Then this was us driving back from Buda Texas in the Viper, He let another buddy of ours drive it back.

I agree with you on keeping the current engine and driving it to it's downfall for seatime. That's a good way to learn about your car and how to wrench it by fixing little things and by doing basic maintence to keep it going.

Yep!

And what is the fun in these projects if you don't take the time to appreciate and learn?

Thanks for stopping by man!

Ghast, I feel so stupid for never poking my head in this thread before... I had NO IDEA you had all this going on! Jesus!

Anyways, I quoted all these pics from months ago because I finally got around to installing my Circuit Sports Exhaust that I bought waaaaay back in December on my KA! Along with some Ebay headers (X-Tune brand). You will not be disappointed, my friend!

But I feel silly because it hangs down really low, though. But I think this is because I'm still using the stock rubber hanger mounts. Did your catback come with the replacement mounts or did you buy them separately?

Either way, I think those mounts will fix my problem of it hanging too low...

I bought them separate, Now something that did not make me happy about them was that they are new and stiff but not stiff enough for 40 bucks if you know what i mean. I dunno if "Kart Boy" is still in business but they make some EXTREMELY stiff exhaust hangers and if you would like i will tell you if the ones they sell are the same dimensions as circuit sports ones.

Glad you got the chance to check out my thread man!

No updates for awhile because life is a b**** haha, my daily got broken into and i have spent all my money on getting it back to health. And school always costs money and early registration has already started. I really want to finish collecting my parts for exterior and interior so i can get started on doing some dirty work.

Anyways man, let me know if you would like me to look into getting that info on the exhaust hangers. I can make a video i think to show you how "stiff" the circuit sports exhaust hangers actually are. I do not have them installed but i can flex them with my hands to show you they are NOT 40 bucks worth of "stiff" if you know what i mean.

I got some studying to do and i have to work out to be less fat haha, Then i will take care of all of that shizzle for ya to let ya know what i am talking about.

Ghasty

I have this same exaust on my Ca18det Hatch. I love how it does not look like a big fart can exaust. It maintains a stockish appearance, but sounds and performs well. You will not be dissappointed.

Man, thanks for that info! I was about to buy those Circuits Sports today! Way to save a brotha from a useless purchase!

I looked around online and found this...http://www.allwheelengineering...B-011

They don't list Nissan as an application that they support, but it's just a frikken exhaust hanger bushing.... Looks like it'll fit just fine, but if you've can provide any firsthand experience for s13's that would give me some piece of mind before I buy them...

It's discreet looks are exactly why I bought it. But I got sooo much more than just a good looking exhaust! When I picked my girlfriend up after the install, she was amazed at how much more quiet it was compared to my old fartcan, even though the piping diameter is wider! The old setup was a 2.75 piping w/no resonator welded to my cat, which was welded to the stock downpipe & exhaust manifold...

Even with ebay headers and a gutted cat, the new exhaust is far more quiet than the old setup! But I am hearing this wierd little noise on throttle that sounds like a baseball card in bicycle spokes...

Holy poop! 3 standard 15mm bushings are on $24 and it looks like Kartboy offers free shipping!

Good looking out, homie! Can anyone confirm whether 15mm bushings are right for our cars?

Edit: I guess, I could just call them tomorrow and ask...

Ok blue one is the circuit sports one, i forgot to take pictures of how easy it flexes.

You can see it is only about 1 1/2mm thinner then the Kart Boy.

The kart boy exhaust hanger that was easiest for me to get to was the Arrow type, the other two (Oval Type) were under the middle part of the car (near the cat) and i did not want to roll out of the garage cuz i am only in my boxers and i am lazy.

Anywho the kartboy arrow type and oval type are the same thickness, and after 5 years of weather and elements they are still strong.

The 1 1/2mm of beef on the Kartboys will NOT hinder your installation, The exhaust hangers on the s13 and the CS exhaust are plenty long to compensate for the extra "beefyness" of the kartboys, you can only benefit from them.

I had a transmission in the way of the rear of my s13 and i did not feel like moving it either so i just used my fingers to feel everything out on the s13 end, Trust in Ghast you will be fine lol.

Let me know how much it costs for just 3 oval types that is all you will need for the s13. I also see they come in sti pink. I may try and sell my Circuit Sports ones so i can go buy the KartBoys.

Hope this helps bro! if you need more pictures or a better explanation i can get under the car tomorrow after my final at school and i will get more detailed shizz for ya.

But i am telling you, you will be just fine with the Kartboys for sure!

Lemmie know ^^

Ghasty

So you ordered the Kartboy Lancer exhaust hangers? cause i was about to pick up the circuit sports one but if the lancer ones are more beefier and they do fit the hangers located on the car i'm pretty sure I'll pick those up. BTW the black ones installed are the Kartboy ones in the picture? Also am more curious as to the hole diameter size in the Kartboy hangers and if you had any trouble sticking them on your hangers and the ones on the car.

NO I DID NOT ORDER THE LANCER SET FOR THE S13.

If and when you order the hangers from kartboy you will order 3 of the standard oval types in whatever color you wish.

My lancer uses 3 arrow types and 2 oval types. S13's Use 3 Oval types got it?

S13 = 3 Oval Type Exhaust Hangers!

Lancer Package = 3 Arrow Type and 2 Oval Type.

DO NOT ORDER LANCER PACKAGE.

I hate to beat a dead horse but based on this link:

http://www.allwheelengineering...B-011

All their bushings have item numbers 'KB-011***' and seem to be Subaru specific. I don't even seen an option for a Lancer set (which I'm NOT supposed to get). Are we ordering the first one on the list labled 'standard length'? Am I missing something? Should I order them elsewhere?

Kartboy kinda made me mad, I even said there are a number of people that may be interested and it seems almost as if he said F you nissan guys we are sticking to subaru.

So whatever.

What are the advantages of removing the sound deadening? Because i am not sure if i want to do my undercoating on the bottom of the car or remove the sound deadening first and then replace it with paint or rubberized undercoating.

But yes i still do not even know the advantages of removing the sound deadening.

Thanks!
