Not at all, the way it is now, the turbo is placed at a nice exhaust flow convergance spot.

No, and it'd be significantly more difficult.

how did you detect minor detonation?

Is that a HOT chick's ear?!

Is she single? Do you know her? Can I get a #? Is she easy?

Err....

Yeah, um, good call there on the, uh... timing, there. Good job, all around.

Presumably yes, it is. Why else would I use it? Other than the fact that it was on the first page when I google imaged it...

So, in effect you advanced timing on boost? Brave soul, but I bet it feels pretty good.

When I first put the turbo on I backed the timing out a good 7*, then started advancing it a bit, drive it, advance it a bit, drive it until I started to sense detonation, then I backed it out about 2*.

I don't actually know. When I went to check, I discovered that my Craftsman timing light has somehow died on me. Time to make a run to Sears I guess...

I start pulling timing at 5lbs with 2-3 pulled out for 10lbs. With the dist pulled back 2* W/ 93 octane and a step or two colder plug you should be good to 10 lbs.

IDK if Sears will guarantee that, though.

Basically, fine. I put the clutch in it Fri morning (Thanks Nick!) but I blew the oil seal in the poor little CA t25 . It was in unknown condition to start with, and being off a CA is almost 20 years old anyway, so it was bound to happen.

I put some coils on the car this weekend, besides the clutch in preparation for racing it at Miller in SLC in a couple weeks. I'll be throwing a gt28r on it sometime in the next week or so and then it should be gtg. Update with new turbo will arrive shortly after installation.

Be careful, you keep upgrading this car, and you are gonna want to get rid of the RB. How do you like the clutch? Much better than stock, right?

If any Nico member ever gets rid of an RB in favor of a KA24E, I'll see them banned FOREVER

Yeah, but you're a D-bag. BTW, I am going back to Phoenix on Wed. I interview with a local dealership there, so maybe I will end up there to terrorize you in *ugh* Tuscon.

Aaron, I got the springs today, you should have that turbo by Monday at the latest, I would think.

Ryan: Sounds good, I won't be home 'till Sun anyway.

Nick: I put the clutch in on Fri (3 hr job) but with the t25 dead I haven't been able to test it out yet.

Have no fear in regards to the RB, it IS going in

Yep, GT28r. I traded Ryan (float_6969) a set of new eibach sportlines for it.
