hey btw, what kind of hub are you using on your dime...it fits just right...i been looking for a quick release hub, but i dont know if any nissan hub will fit... im looking to use my personal sw for a long time... :P

hey where did you get it? have a link or site?
thanks! I couldnt find anyhthing that would fit good AND slim either.. I ended up taking a MOMO hub adapter for a 510/240z(same thing) and cutting it down and retapping thereads to make it smaller. I am pretty happy with it

I saw this car up on ebay the other day too...

A shame your selling the car after all that work.

You ever get that speedometer hooked up? If not, what did you end up using? I have a KA in my 510 and cant figure out what to do about a speedo.

Car looks absolutely amazing BTW

get a cable speedo gear out of a late 80's z31 300zx n/a, or a vg powered s12 200sx.

hey man, just wanted to say awesome work on the dime. I saw that the ebay auction didn't reach reserve. I sent you a message on ebay when it was still active. I live in SF, CA and when you finish it I plan on buying it. Just wanted to put it out there. please contact me if when and if you are ready to sell. I'll have the coin in a couple months.much respect, on a beautiful work of art.

Wow, mesojdm, the car looks great. If you dont mind me asking, why after such a detailed build are you deciding to sell the car?? It seems that you havent even had a chance to have fun in it yet.

I was suprised to see it on ebay, too. You put so much time, money, and effort into it and now you sell it.

What's goin on everyone, I'm new to the group. I don't really know anything about the datsun 510. i saw one on the speed channel on the hot import nights and saw the mods for it. It really just reignited my passion for cars. i really like the way the datsun 510 looks and i like that you can swap out for the SR20det pretty easily... well not easily but you know what i mean. I like the whole old meets new thing with the 510. So basically i wanna know everything there is about the 510. if there's any car clubs in the Los Angeles area that specifically cater to the 510. and if there are any books or mags that i could read to better understand the car? any suggestions?
