damn, posting within 24 hours of me picking the alarm up? jesus.

this kinda stuff can be texted, doesnt need to be in my build thread. let me know when you have a WELL lit garage-space to work in, power cords to the car, food/drink, etc. i should have it all prewired tonight. ill be down by my parents place tonight too. maybe tonight if you have all the previous requirements met.

only thing is, the soldering iron is MIA. youll have to provide that. i have all the rest of the stuff ill need.

i wasn't expecting you to be done already lol just wondering on a time frame. not meaning to clutter your build thread, i've just had some trouble getting a hold of you lately. i had all the requirements met last night; had your money, had a half gal of green tea in my fridge all day for you, the car could have been pushed over to the more lit side, had money for food and 6 extension cords as well as my soldering gun.

Have fun with the aero. If you need help, you know who to call who has plenty of experience with that stuff.

true. the metal seams in my wheel wells are super hammered down and i still rub a bit with 234/40.

gonna have to hammer that s*** down if you wanna be low with 245/45s

Indeed we'll be enjoying the f*** out of this summer! Too bad u guys don't have mopeds... Riding in sandals w/o a helmet legally thru the summer breeze is probably the most relaxing form of motoring one can experience other than boating.

+1 for good times, can't wait to see this!

i just take cash up front. wish me luck for tomorrow... im hoping we dont hit any stupid big snags.

rear subframe will be swapped in w/ toe+traction rods and risers at a later date. aero may or may NOT get fitted tomo. taillights/gtst spoiler are low on the list as well.

my priorities: eyeball alignment, get sweet ride height/clearance fenderwells for bigass tires, get all brakes on/bled/etc, get rear 5lug done, put the wheels on, and drive this b****.

cosmetics/new audio/other s*** will be picked at later. i gotta still get a REAL alignment/inspection....

however, i have a good crew of guys coming over to help... i may get a lot done... who knows

Let me know how it goes with meaty sidewall tires. I'm trying to prevent s*** like this happening again:

I've hammered to all hell months ago to make 215/40's not rub, and these POS's still rub. 215/45. The funny thing about the sunkeness right now is that there's a 20mm and an 8mm spacer in there already.

Good news and bad news.

Good news:We made some good progress. The car looks sexy as hell.

Bad News:It's still not on the road.

What was done today:Not a lot.Front is just about done.Fenders and side skirts were tested. (Pics below)Dmax tails were installed.Half assed wire tuck for the wheel wells.Removed driver's side rear hub.

What held us up:Passenger side rear hub won't come loose.

Pics. Cool.

Front suspension goodies.

Didderson approves of this tuck.

Sweet zip ties.

Fenders.

Fenders and skirts.

Yup, camo hood is gone. (It's mine now.)

Aaaaaand DMax tails.

Lol I don't TOTALLY approve of the wire tuck, but it was a funny pic. I am shocked Keegan partially untucked some wiring and ran it in the engine bay, but I just tell myself he'll redo it later so I can sleep at night. I was approving the "rad" wheels and offset

It was a fun day checking out the ballin' new setup and parts. Doug on your other KA motor if you would grab the copper O ring gasket for the power steering banjo bolt keegans only had one.

Tuck looks good once it was more finished, and I'm glad to see the Dmax tails eventually went on without trouble .The car's going to look crazy with these wheels and aero. You know you dig the fat azenis sticky tires!

One more thing. I need a new FB pic, I'm stealing it rofl!

nice to see full size pics, they were hard to see on keegan's phone. i thought i liked the tail lights when i saw them sitting in the parts room, but they look fantastic on the car. can't wait to see this done and on the road. let me know when you plan on respraying the car, i'd be able to help out with it as i've gotten pretty good with my rattle canning. i'm really anal with my prep work and my orbital sander speeds things up.

Holy jesus christ that's a fat tire. I'm sort of questioning your ability to slam now.

Just by looking at the coilover, I was like, "needs lower."
