Here is a general HowTo and also a little review of the product.
HowTo:
*Disclaimer* - I am not liable for anything you do to your car. This is just a basic walkthrough.
Task: Install an EZLip kit on a Y51 Infiniti M
Time:15-20 minutes
Tools/Supplies Needed:
- Heat Gun (such as this one from harbor freight - it's always good to have this in the garage. I use it for everything from heating up bolts/nuts to cell phone screen repair lol)
- Isopropyl Alcohol (kit includes a cleaning agent but I preferred to use a towel doused in the alcohol instead)
- A helping hand to hold the excess lip material while working
- Paper towels or clean microfiber towel
1) Jack the car up securely so you can get under it a bit. Nothing crazy. Just enough to allow you to get a good view of the front of the bumper while laying down, etc. I have a lift, so for me this was easy.
2) With the car lifted by whichever means you have at your disposal (I realize not everyone has a lift in their garage), first make sure that the installation area of the bumper is dry and generally clean.
3) Once the bumper has been generally cleaned, take your isopropyl alcohol towel and rub down the installation area to insure that it is as clean as possible prior to installation. Once the bumper is cleaned and dried, we can begin installing the lip.
4) Using the heat gun, heat up a 1-2ft segment of the lip and peel back the tape cover.
5) Slowly, going in 1 or 2" sections, with the lip still pretty warm from the heat start to install the lip on the underside of the bumper. You don't get points for speed here, so take your time and make sure its aligned with the edge.
6) Repeat steps 4-5 until you finish.
7) Cut off an excess lip material with a sharp box cutter or something similar.

Review:
So, going into this, I wasn't really sure this look would work for me. The lip itself is pretty soft, flexible and rubbery (similar material to like a rubber grommet or 'boot') and likely will just bend back if rub up against a curb (unless it hardens once exposed to the elements?) so that's nice...it won't crack or break from what I can tell.
The glue, if the bumper is cleaned and the lip is installed properly, is INSANE. I don't want to say this mod is permanent, but if you remove the lip kit you'll likely have some scrapping/cleaning to do. It's stuck on there pretty good. This will not 'unstick' on you (unless you installed it wrong) while you're doing 140mph on the interstate lol.
Once I was done with the install, I instantly liked it. So, forget me thinking that I didn't think this would look good. I think it looks freakin fantastic if I may say so myself.
One kit is enough for the M's front bumper, although per Larz (Y50 M moderator) it was not enough for the rear bumper, FYI. I had like a foot left over.
All in all, I'm happy with this 'mod'.
