Problems with my Fairlady

I got this thing right before it was about to be junked so I'm geussing it would have some problems with it so yeah.

The main thing I'm looking for though is the back part that says 300zx that goes above the licence plate since it was missing and in its place I had a big one which I like but has no room for me to put the plate on it. I really don't care if I could put plates on it or not- stupid California laws >_>.

Other than that, it seems to have some lighting problems where my bck lights turn off and on every five minutes after the cars is turned off, my windows can't row down, the button on the top right above the signal lights is on and I don't know what that buton does either, The buttons next to the mirror control next to my shift knob don't work and the vents for the a/c don't work only the ones that are defrosting do.

Thoses are the main ones I know and want to get fixed too. Can anyone help out...?

Lighting problem. Typically, this is the headlight switch mounted on the steering column. Replace it.

Windows: Check fuses.

Button on the top right: Rear defogger button?

Button next to shift knob: Do you have an automatic?

AC vents: Replace vacuum lines. Start with the ones under the hood. Generally fixes most of the Z31s out there with climate control issues.

the trim piece for the tai lights is likely a junk yard item, MSA or black dragon would be the most likely sources if the part is available new

the lights is either a ground issue, a swithc issue or a control box issue, check the chassis grounds up front and int he rear, and test the switch

windo switches si a common problem

the vent issue is likely a vac issue, either the lines taht come in form the engines bay or the dashpots they supply vac to

Im having the same problem with my 300x The air wont blow out of the front vent's only out the defrost or lower vents when its on econ it always blows out the top vent. I took out the climate control fan on the ceiling to lubricate it and I thought this was the cause of it because it blew out the top at first and then I couldn't figure it out again hmm
