Problems with LED interior lights?

I have a friend who put in the LED map/dome lights and now only the driver side works. Anyone else have this problem? I want to get them myself, but since he's had this problem I'm a little more hesitant. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

He must have got a faulty one.

I put mine in, they work excellent.

I believe he has the LED board not the single bulb. I like the board style LED set up as it gives off more light and I think it looks better but the single bulb probably has less issues since it has less to go wrong.
