Car: Nissan Altima 2003

Post

We have had 4 flat tires in 5 years. We have changed out all rims once already. We had 2 flats in the same wheel within a year, this time with a bent rim. However, there was no pot hole, no impact, nothing that would have caused this. So we're confused on how this can happen? We have spent over a grand on just this 1 wheel for tires/rim. Anyone else experienced this? The car is not driven much - less than 4-5k miles a year for the past 3 years & not driven on bad roads or freeways. The car is a 2003 Nissan Altima with less than 70k miles on it. It was new when bought. We always take it to the Nissan dealership for service. Not so happy that we're always taking it in for service We are beginning to think it's something with the car since we can't attribute it to pilot error. Any input is much appreciated!

it must be a pothole or something causing this. tires just dont leak, and wheels dont magically bend themselves.
