I changed my rear brakes & rotor on my 2000 maxima GLE, now when a pull the parking/E brake up, the car still rolls when i put it in drive. Is there something in need to tighten up. it wasnt like this before i changed the brakes & rotor....

The Parking Brake has a mechanical linkage that splits into left and right cables for the respective rear brakes. Make sure the linkage is good and that the mechanical connections on the rear brakes are secure.

If the parking brake is not engaged, then the wheel should spin freely. If the parking brake is engaged and wheel still spins freely, there is something wrong with your connections. Please refer to the link below, especially pages BR-30 and BR-37

Please refer to the earlier link for illustration. The main adjustment is on the Parking Brake lever on the console.

Grip, If they worked fine before you did the brake job, then it almost has to be they way they were reinstalled. I doubt its the cables out of adjustment. If you have the time, sit in front of them and take them back apart, are you using a manual? If so double check everything you did and if it doesnt work itself out take some pics and post them. The guys on here are good and may be able to see something wrong.
