Price and Difficulty between SOHC and DOHC

alright well, i have a 240sx coupe shell sitting in my drive way with a blown SOHC motor and bad transmission, which is auto so i want to swap that out anyways, if i were to buy a DOHC instead would it cost about the same if i were to buy a SOHC, and would the difficutly for DOHC be harder, i heard wiring was alot different and difficult, and im a nooob to all this stuff..
