• Big 3 Kit in 1/0 awg• (5) Wire Grounding Kit in 4 awg

How much for a 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5SL shipped to 40206 zip code?

Also, would I end up with (5) 4 awg wires and (3) 1/0 awg wires for that configuration, or do a few of these wires become redundant (for instance, 7 wires in total, with the Big 3 as 1/0 awg)? I am OK with the rest of the grounding kit being 4 awg, as long as the Big 3 are 1/0 awg. LMK!
Emailed you. Let me know if you'd like to proceed. I'll need to check my supplies.

Add me to the waitlist of S13 KA24DE owners looking for a quality NICO-fabbed groundwire effort! I will keep an eye on this thread hoping the S13 kit comes out sometime this year!

gonna have to be some damn good prices to sell me on this kit. another person has a kit with dyno numbers. won't post a link anything because it's against the rules...Might have already said too much...

Well at least give us some details on the kit he used and what he dyno'd...
2. Do not link to or otherwise do something to compete with what the seller is selling. This is not good forum etiquette and it will get deleted. This goes for linking to garbage on eBay.

I believe that would fall under "do something to compete with what the seller is selling"

I will pm you...

The different "levels" of kits are listed on the first post. Actually just about all of the answers are there including pricing.

Price for a G35 kit (I'm assuming 5AT) is $110 shipped.

As for the dyno crap :tisk: First off, dyno's vary by a "cute" margin between pulls. Some are very consistent. Some cars are very consistent. Other dynos or cars swing around 5 or so hp per pull.

A few things to consider. A grounding kit isn't going to give you crazy numbers. If it gives you what a typical intake does, that's a lot. The benefits are more in drivablity, throttle response, idle smoothness, transmission response, and electrical efficiency. VDC is no longer as obtrusive either.

I'm only saying all of this because I've had to defend this product for the past 2-3 years and I've only had 2 or possibly 3 customers out of hundreds who have been like "it didn't do anything". I specifically told one of the guys "My kit WILL NOT fix your transmission problems. You have a serious transmission issue." He insisted on buying a kit despite 2 or 3 conversations where I told him it wouldn't help. Then came back and said, "It didn't do anything". WELL NO DUH!!! I think he had early transmission failure.

This thread isn't dead. I just haven't been getting email notifications since the transition to the new forum software.
infiniti_lineup wrote:Is this thread still active? Can we get some R&D on a grounding kit for the 2006-2010 Infiniti M45?
If Jesse hasn't renewed the skepticism that I spent months debating about, then yes. I'm ALWAYS happy to start R&D for a new kit design.

For real. I am about to tell my sister to go buy one and drive from LA to wherever you are so I can get a sweet kit. But at this rate I am just going to have to make my own.

Anyways, where are you located so we can get this started!? If I'm not near you, I should be able to pull some other closer M45 owner into going for the R&D :)

Hahaha. I love those ebay kits. I can't get raw copper wholesale at the prices they sell those kits for...say anything to you? lol

I'm out in SoCal. Find me a local M45 and I'd be happy to make something happen for you guys (and give you a little discount for spearheading the operation).

I'm meeting up with a friend on Saturday. I might just hold a gun to his head and force him to let me borrow his S14...last time I wanted to, I think it wasn't running hahaha.

I've got a 2005 G35 AT and am interested in the ground wire kit. Whats the difference between performance and show and is it fairly easy to install.

Sorry for the late replies guys. The new forum software doesn't notify me when there are replies.

MoMosaurus. I'm no longer offering the kit for the 2009 FX35. The design was too difficult to install. I might revisit it soon to see what can be done to make the installation easier. Sorry :(

Stanjagnsen,

The show kit has 2 additional ground wires under the hood. This really makes the engine bay look great, but those two additional grounds do little for the performance of the car. For most applications, the performance kit is very adequate.

do you think any of these kits could be retrofitted to a pathfinder? Would love to do a grounding kit but nobody has a pathfinder specific kit. Wonder if I could make one of the 3.5 kits for another car work?

on the 2nd gen g35x, where is the grounding point on the transmission and is the ECU housing plastic?

I was told that in order to ground the transmission properly, you would need to remove the driveshaft to get to the location. Is this true and that the ecu grounding is pointless as the housing is plastic. Is this true or was someone trying to blow smoke?
